This year has been some what of a mixture. On the image side it has been a bit up and down in the monthly club competitions. Having said that I did manage tom get some golds and a couple of best in sections. To add to this, I also entered some National Salons again getting a couple acceptances. Let’s hope that next year will be a little bit better.

On the Audio-Visual side thing have been quiet. Did not achieve any goals in the Salons I entered. However, I made an A V on my Namaka 4×4 which I posted on Youtube so for those of you that would like to see it just click on this link. https://youtu.be/e2lJvrXCUlA

Our AVMakersSA has been very good with some great AV’s as well as some impressive ideas, so thanks to Jeff and his team we look forward to more in 2025.

I have been looking at the list of ‘set subjects’ for 2025 for our monthly club competitions, the first one for January is Street Photography so that should be a bit of fun.

One of the outstanding photographic highlights is that my grandson Jonny has become the principal photographer for his school along with getting some paid photoshoots, so I wish him all the very best for the future.
